But with scant resources and sparse facilities, the promise of education is often unfulfilled for these children.
But hope springs eternal. At Skill Up, we're joining forces with TimorBelajar, sharing a common dream to uplift the children of East Nusa Tenggara. Through our new donation foundation, we're not just bringing education to their doorstep, we're bringing you closer to them.

In the heart of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), beats a potent rhythm of potential and aspiration. Here, Timor Belajar was born as a beacon of hope paving the road to bolster education for the children of NTT. By empowering and investing in the crucial education of NTT youth, we are helping to build a brighter and more prosperous future for the entire community.
Timor Belajar is more than just an initiative—it's a heartfelt commitment, a promise to the NTT aspiring youths, which operate on two powerful fronts: providing immediate educational assistance to schools in remote areas and influencing educational policies to drive impactful and sustainable change.
In our first year of operation, we've conversed with over 60 teachers and 300 students in NTT's most remote corners to closely understand the challenges they face in accessing quality education. Building upon their concerns, we provided help to cater to their basic education needs, including books, stationery, and technological devices.
Additionally, we've translated our hope and efforts into policy recommendations, advocating for improved education at the local government level. Our commitment was recognized when we had the honor of presenting our policy recommendation to the Regent of Kupang, Mr. Korinus Masneno, last year.
Through these efforts, we carry the dreams of countless youngsters. Our goal is to ignite a wave of systemic change in the education sector and give the children of NTT a fair shot at their dreams. By focusing on one school at a time, we strive to ensure the quality education as deserved by the next generation in NTT.
